Hi, my name is Derek.  I am a 53-year-old counsellor with extensive tangible ‘lived experience’. Despite a reasonably happy childhood, I struggled with poor mental health from my early teenage years which persisted year after year. 

In my late thirties, I embarked on my own healing journey. After fifteen years of dedicated effort, I deeply understand the who, what, when, where, why and how’s of my own complex healing journey. I now help others. I am married with 2 children.
